01

Notify Your Supervisor Immediately

On the first day you are unable to attend work due to illness, you must inform your supervisor through an appropriate channel (phone, message, or through a colleague). Do not simply stay away without notice — unauthorized absence results in a deduction of one day's pay for each day absent.

Return to Duty

When you are fit to return, report to your supervisor with a medical clearance certificate. If you were referred to a Medical Board, the Board must confirm you are fit to resume duties. Your Head of Department records the total leave taken and updates your personnel file. Remember: failure to return after your leave period expires results in unpaid leave status and possible disciplinary action.
